About Marsden Park

Marsden Park is a suburb in the state of New South Wales, Australia, northwest of Sydney. Marsden Park lies 49 kilometers (30 mi) northwest of the central business district of Sydney, in the local government area of Blacktown and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region.

Marsden Park had a population of 1,008 based on the 2016 census. 

History of Marsden Park

The suburbs are named for Samuel Marsden (1764-1838), a priest and landowner of the Church of England in the area.

There is a caravan park, a golf driving range, a Hamrun Maltese Club and a poultry farm in the area. Today, the neighborhood is expanding with modern residential and industrial areas.

Sydney Business Park is in the suburb, next to the Westlink M7 motorway, a modern industrial center. There is an IKEA outlet, Costco warehouse and Costco Fuel Station, on location.

Tourist attraction in Marsden Park

Clydesdale is a heritage-listed homestead and former seminary and missionary school in 1859–1971 . It was also a wartime hospital in1942–1944. 

Clydesdale was built from 1823 to 1885. It is also known as Lang 's Farm.  Echovale is also known as the northern half. It was moved on 2 April 1999 to the New South Wales State Heritage List.

Marsden Park has several schools within a community. This includes:
