About Kings Langley

Kings Langley is a suburb within the city of Blacktown of Sydney, New South Wales Australia. It is approximately 28.3 kilometres north-west in a straight line from the Sydney central business district.

History of Kings Langley

Kings Langley was named after Kings Langley Manor House in Hertfordshire, England, a place where Matthew Pearce, an early settler, was born. The name was used as a housing scheme in the 1970s and was recognised as a "neighbourhood" in 1976. It was in 1987 when it was assigned as a suburb.

Tourist Attractions in Kings Langley

The parks and reserves in Kings Langley include Endeavour Park that serves a large, diverse, challenging range of play experiences for adults and children as well as people with a disability.

There is also the Twin Willow Reserve, a playground  for kids that likes to be a ninja warrior. As well the Discovery Park which is the biggest playground in the suburb and quite interesting for young kids with curious minds.

Schools and Sports in Kings Langley

The suburb is serviced by several government schools. These include the 2 primary schools Vardys Road Primary School and Kings Langley Public School. Kings Langley has no high school, however the suburb falls in the catchment area for Blacktown Boys High School, Blacktown Girls High School and Seven Hills High School.

Morgan Power Reserve  is used for athletics and cricket during the summer sport season and football during the winter sport season. It is the home ground of Blacktown and District Soccer Football Association.
