Kellyville is a suburb situated in The Hills Shire in the Hills District Region of Greater Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is about 36 kilometers north-west of the Sydney central business district.
Kellyville was named by Hugh Kelly, a former convict who arrived in New South Wales aboard The Rolla in 1803. Kelly owned the Kellyville Estate and the Kellyville Hotel, "Bird-In-Hand." Portions of several early land grants were purchased and subdivided into farmlets as part of the 'Kellyville Estate', thereby giving the suburb its name.
There are several parks and reserves to explore in Kellyville. These include the Golden Grove Reserve, which features a junior play unit, swing set, seesaw, timber bridge, and a covered picnic table.
